Harvest the Olive
Groves of
Korčula
Join us at our hilltop villa in Grščica for a hands-on olive harvest — pressing, tasting, and feasting in one of the Adriatic’s most unspoiled corners.
An ancient ritual, alive on the Dalmatian hillside
Every autumn, as the Adriatic light softens to gold, the olive trees of Grščica are heavy with fruit. This is the moment the island has been preparing for all year — the harvest.
On this four-hour immersive experience at our private villa and grove, you’ll pick olives the traditional way, learn how extra-virgin olive oil is made, taste fresh-pressed oil straight from the mill, and sit down to a seasonal Croatian meal made from our garden.

15 minGrščica, Korčula —
where the Adriatic meets the grove
Tucked into the lush interior of Korčula island, the village of Grščica sits among some of Dalmatia’s oldest olive groves. Our villa sits on the hillside here, surrounded by centuries-old Oblica trees with sweeping views down to the sea.
October and November are perhaps the most magical time to visit the island. The summer visitors are long gone, the light turns amber and long, and the whole community comes alive with the rhythm of the harvest. This is the Korčula that locals actually live in.
What to expect
Suitable for Everyone
No prior experience needed and no great physical fitness required. We’ll adapt the pace to your group. Children are very welcome — kids love harvesting olives. We ask only for curiosity and a good appetite.
Small, Intimate Groups
Maximum 8 guests per session. This is not a tour — it’s an invitation into our home and our tradition. Expect personal attention, genuine conversation, and the warmth of Dalmatian hospitality.
Dress for the Grove
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little oily and shoes with grip for the hillside. October mornings can be crisp — bring a light layer. We’ll supply gloves, rakes, and everything else.
Seasonally Dependent
Harvest timing varies by up to a week each year depending on the olive ripeness. We schedule experiences from late October through mid-November. You’ll be notified of the exact session date upon booking.
